ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Service Representative with the Jason Marquardt State Farm team, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing them with exceptional service and support. You will play a critical role in addressing customer inquiries, assisting with auto and home claims, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Interactions
  • First impression specialist in the agency lobby.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate information regarding insurance policies, coverage options, and claims processes.
  • Assist clients with policy changes and questions.
Problem Resolution
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently.
  • Liaise with internal departments to address and resolve complex customer inquiries.
Documentation and Record-Keeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the agency’s database.
  • Prepare and process necessary documentation for policy changes and claims.
Sales Support
  • Assist the sales team by providing information and support during the sales process.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer potential clients to the sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a small team environment.
  • Must hold or be able to complete property & casualty insurance licensing within 60 days.
